Tax toolbox campaign - site visits

From Monday 1 July, we will be visiting construction sites in main centres across New Zealand as part of our ‘Tax toolbox’ campaign.

Tax toolbox for tradies

We will be increasing our presence in the communities, engaging with customers to see if they have heard about the ‘Tax Toolbox’ campaign, and offering help where needed. The visits will be brief and we’ll provide information brochures.

The key objectives of the campaign are to:

• remind customers about the Tax Toolbox
• educate customers about their core obligations 
• encourage and empower customers to take action and address their outstanding returns and debt 
• motivate them to seek help from us or tax agents.

We also have ‘tradies’ seminars that cover our top 5 tax tips for tradies. These are being run in the late afternoon and evening sessions are also available. Your clients can register on our seminars page.
