Wage and salary statistics datasets

We update the wage and salary income statistics data yearly using Inland Revenue administrative data.  

How we organise the data 

The Excel spreadsheet has notes that give important background or technical information. The 2nd tab contains charts included on the website. The 3rd tab has tables and raw data going back to 2001. 

Files to download 

This spreadsheet has revisions to the 2019 to 2023 tax years and new data for the 2024 tax year. The data for 2023 and earlier years may not match what we have previously published. Only our most up-to-date information is available for download.
