Urgent IRD numbers

We can issue an urgent IRD number within 2 business days.

Requirements for an urgent IRD number

Please let us know why it’s urgent. We need your specific reasons so we can prioritise your request over others in our waiting list. If the urgent requirements are met, we’ll issue the IRD number within 2 business days.

If your IRD number is required for a property settlement, please provide a copy of the sales and purchase agreement with your application. As the settlement process is usually 4 to 6 weeks, you should apply for the IRD number in the early stages of settlement. This will help to avoid penalties and delays.
