Planned system outage | Our online services (including myIR and submitting information using software providers) will be unavailable from 6pm Friday 14 to approximately 4pm Sunday 16 March while we complete some system upgrades. The outage will not affect any saved drafts or web requests in myIR, our website, general tools and calculators. We apologise for any inconvenience this causes.

Hamilton (Home Straight) public counter is temporarily closed | Our Hamilton Public Counter will be closed from Monday 3 March 2025 and re-opens on Monday 17 March 2025. For anything urgent, you can call our contact centre.

Important Update

In our news update on 25 February 2025, we told you that over the weekend of 15 March 2025, we will be updating our system design for the Reserve Scheme Accounts, Income Equalisation (EQU), and Environmental Restoration (ERA).

To help this change transition smoothly, we ask that you do not submit any non-urgent withdrawal requests for EQU between Wednesday 12 March at 4pm and 8am Monday 17 March 2025.

After this update, some clients' information for EQU will be temporarily unavailable online. This is because of account maintenance activities following the system update. You and your clients will be able to view their EQU information in myIR again before 31 March 2025.

We want to acknowledge that a medium scale Adverse Event has been declared for Northland, Waikato, Taranaki, Horizons and Marlborough-Tasman regions. When assisting your clients affected by the drought conditions, please consider the above outages and contact us if you have any urgent requests.
