If you’re a child support liable parent, you can set up a child support payment plan in myIR to help you make your monthly payments on time. For example, the payment plan can show you how much to pay weekly or fortnightly so that you’ve paid in full by the due date.

You can pay by direct debit or make the payments yourself. If your child support payments are deducted from your salary or wages, you cannot set up a payment plan.

In myIR, select 'More...' from the child support - Liable parent account panel

Select 'Set up a child support payment plan' under Payments and refunds

Enter your details and submit

You can choose:

  • one-off or recurring direct debits
  • to make the payments yourself.

Log in to myIR

What happens next

If you’re paying by direct debit, your payments will come out automatically.

If you’re making the payments yourself, your plan shows you the dates payments are due.

Contact us if you want to update your payment plan.
