Takapuna office closure | Takapuna office closure. The Takapuna office is relocating to a new address so will be closed from 22 November 4pm to 26 November 4pm. From 27 November you can find the new office at: 74 Taharoto Road Smales Farm, One NZ Building, Takapuna.

Some services unavailable 23 - 24 November | myIR, gateway services and our self-service phone line will not be available from 3pm Saturday 23 November to 9am Sunday 24 November while we do planned system testing. This will not affect any tax entitlements or payments scheduled during this time.

Payday filing through our gateway services or myIR file upload service lets digital service providers:

  • send employment information to us each pay cycle instead of monthly
  • send us any changes to employees' details.

Employment information

Employment information includes employees' income for each pay cycle. Businesses using payday filing must submit this information to us within 2 working days of the payday. 

Employee details

Employers also need to send us details of new and departing employees. They can do this through file upload or through their software.

They need to send us this information by the next employment information due date, but they can send it earlier.

There's currently no ability for employee deductions payment through our gateway or file upload services.
