Support for Cyclone Gabrielle The Government upgraded Cyclone Gabrielle from a large-scale adverse event to an emergency event on 20 February 2023. Extra support is available for families, businesses and farmers.
Support for February 2023 rain and flooding in the upper North Island The Government declared the sustained rainfall from 26 January 2023 to 1 February 2023 an emergency event on 8 February 2023, upgraded from a medium-scale adverse event. Extra support is available for families, businesses and farmers.

The Government upgraded Cyclone Hale from a medium-scale adverse event to an emergency event on 25 January 2023. Extra support is available for families, businesses and farmers.
